Speech and Drama

 Ages 8+ (School Years 4+)

Our most popular programme, Speech & Drama teaches students a wide range of speaking and performing skills including characterisation, scripted and improvised drama, mime, poetry speaking, reading aloud, speech-making, interview skills and more. Students work towards Competitions and Speech NZ and/or Trinity London graded examinations.

Public Speaking

Ages 8+ years (School Years 4+)

​Learn a wide range of speaking and presenting skills including instructive, entertaining, persuasive, and impromptu speaking, debating skills, interview skills and more. Students work towards Competitions and Speech NZ graded examinations.

Improv Classes

Ages 5+ (School Years 0+)

No exams or competitions.

A fun class to learn drama skills without the pressure of scripts, competitions, or exams. Involving lots of drama games and improvisation activities to encourage confidence, teamwork, communication, problem solving, imagination, creativity and of course, fun.

Pre-Grade Speech & Drama

Pre-Grade Ages 5+ (School Year 0-3)

Speech & Drama skills and competition work for students too young to yet sit graded exams. Learn confidence, communication and teamwork skills though drama games, improvisations, poetry, characterisation, nursery rhymes and more. Students work towards the Speech & Drama Competitions and build skills for future Speech & Drama grades.

Teen Theatre Masterclass

Age 13+ (School Years 9+)

A  masterclass in acting and stagecraft. Students will work on a range of characterisation and acting skills to prepare for auditions and performance.
